Haley is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, license number MH15883. She has completed her education, engaged in supervised post-Masters practice, and passed the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam required by the Florida Board. She adheres to the Code of Ethics established by the American Counseling Association. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
Haley is a native of Gulf Breeze, Florida and moved back to the area from Birmingham, Alabama, where she earned a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. UAB is a CACREP-accredited university, meaning that the content and quality of the program have been evaluated and meet the standards of the Council for Accreditation for Counseling and Related Educational Programs. While in Birmingham, Haley worked at Hill Crest Behavioral Health Hospital, an inpatient treatment facility for children and adolescents, and Northwest Alabama Treatment Center, an outpatient substance abuse treatment facility. Her theoretical approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a research-based approach to counseling, and person-centered therapy, an approach leading to self-actualization.
